　　The oracle bone script form of the character“龟”（guī） is a pictograph. It has two primary forms. Its shape resembles a turtle viewed either from the side or the front，complete with a head，legs，shell，and tail，with the carapace being especially prominent.In oracle bone inscriptions，it is used in three ways：to represent a turtle，to represent divination with a turtle，and as a person’s name.
